I recently began using the GravityFit TPro Super Kit 2.0 with three different students: an adult female golfer, an adult male golfer, and a junior golfer. I have also experimented with two of the resistance levels, the yellow and red bands, which allowed me to match the resistance to the individual needs of each student.
What impressed me most was the immediate feedback the TPro provides. Golfers quickly become aware of how their body is moving during the swing, helping them develop better posture, movement patterns, and body awareness. The bands encourage a more connected and efficient motion, making it easier for students to feel the difference between compensations and proper sequencing.
One of the most significant benefits I observed was with two students who struggled with a slice. By adjusting how the bands were applied, I was able to help them feel the correct movement of the lead and trail hands through impact. This helped them better understand how to square the clubface rather than leave it open.
As coaches, we often rely on verbal instruction to explain a movement. While verbal cues are important, there is a tremendous difference between telling a student what to do and allowing them to physically feel the correct motion. The tactile feedback provided by the TPro bridges that gap. Once the students experienced the movement, the change became much easier to understand, repeat, and trust.
As a PGA of Canada professional, I appreciate training aids that provide simple, effective feedback without overwhelming the student with technical thoughts. The TPro has already proven valuable with golfers of different ages and skill levels, and I look forward to continuing to incorporate it into both my own practice and my coaching programs.
